Yes! Now you are all ears. So, why wait? Let us get straight to business.

Tan removal mask – No matter what your skin tone, healthy sun kissed skin is always beautiful and a tanned face can be a dampner even if you slap on dollops of make up.

An easy-peasy tan removal mask is right there on your kitchen counter. Simply wash and grate a medium sized potato in a bowl and add a large spoonful of fuller’s earth to the grated potato and mix well. Make sure the consistency is not runny enough to ruin your clothes.  Wash and dry your face and then spread the mix liberally on your skin. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. The high iron content will remove the tanned skin easily without using harsh chemicals. Use as often as you like.

Exfoliating scrub: Another common peeve is dead skin that dulls your face and hides your healthy skin.

To treat this in the comfort of your home without using chemicals, simply take two spoonfuls of fine brown sugar and add the juice of half a lemon to this. Mix well and gently apply it to your face. With very gentle hands run the mix in circular motions all over your face, taking care not to be too harsh as to bruise it. This is especially helpful for people with oily skin as the lemon acts as a natural astringent and tightens the pores on oily skin.

Glow mask: This is one of the favourites with most people who like home remedies. Mix a spoonful of organic honey with half a spoonful of rose water and use a cotton ball to apply this mixture to your face.

Keep it on for 10 minutes, wash off and repeat if you like. The nourishment from the honey and the antioxidants from the rose water will restore the glow to your skin in just a few uses.

Hydrating mask: For those with dry skin a protein boost works wonders.

Add a large spoonful of curd to a small spoonful of gram flour or besan. Add just a pinch of turmeric powder for a healthy glow and its antibacterial properties. Apply this liberally to your face and keep it on for 3-5 minutes.

Wash this off carefully before it dries up, and pat your face dry. Follow with your usual moisturizer to stay hydrated.

Anti- Ageing mask: Nothing works on tired ageing skin like this one!

Simply separate the yolk and the white of an egg. Beat the white of the egg to get even consistency. If you have dry skin, add a few drops of olive oil. Then either with a clean make up brush, a cotton ball or with your fingers, apply the egg white mix liberally to your skin and leave it on till it begins to dry naturally. Wash off with gently and pat dry. Repeat if necessary. You will notice that this mask will ease out your fine lines, and leave your skin feeling softer and nourished.

The collagen in the egg white will revive the skin’s elasticity and the minerals will give it much needed nourishment boost.

The best part about these face masks is that not only are they free and easily found at home, they are safe for all skin types.

And we know you will love us more when you see the results. Tell us all about it in the comments.

Here is to happy skin!
