Cannes Film Festival is a celebrated event that not only showcases the handpicked movies from all-over but also highlights the sheer emotions and moments our gorgeous ladies experience at the Red Carpet. Don’t we all just wait for these gorgeous divas to grace the most glamorous global event with their stunning looks, one after another? However, the core team of stylists, makeup artists and managers work tirelessly to bring upon their cohesive looks that undergo criticism from luxe publications, socialists, fashion aficionados etc. Let’s move forward and rate our pretty ladies on their put-together looks.
Celebrities who wore Same Dress Differently!
Alison Brie vs Moran Atias
The scintillating rouge floor-length figure flattering gown designed by Dundas was indeed a meticulous creation. However, what caught our eye was the multicolour striped detailing on the off-shoulder neckline and at the sides with just a hint of skin show.
The gorgeous celebrities sported this well, however, Moran paired black pumps and lowered our expectation. The thigh-high slit stunner detailing called for something much better. Alison won the game!
What’s your vote: Alison or Moran?
Noomi Rapace vs Lee Seydoux
Who doesn’t love Louis Vuitton but it takes attitude and personality to carry one. Here seems to be quite a competition as the ladies pulled off the ensemble with panache.
We love how Noomi styled her look with gothic statement necklace and complementing bracelet in one hand with bob hair to strike a daring impression. Lee kept it elegant and suave with minimal jewelry and slick back hair into a ponytail at the Cannes Film Festival'17 Lee is a clear winner!
Whose your pick: Noomi or Lee?
Fan Binbing vs Heidi Klum
The sheer metallic silhouettes are quite a rage this season and why not, Zuhair Murad is quite a professional at tailoring these pieces with intricate details. The royal blue sprinkled sequins are handcrafted on this sheath detailed metallic floor-length gown with an obvious thigh-high slit.
While Binbing dolled up like a “I don’t know what’s so fancy!” kinda attitude and threw a fresh innocent dainty look, Heidi chose to wear this later with ultimate confidence and poise. The ensemble went well on Fan and complimented her innocence like nothing else.
What do you think: Fan or Heidi?
Robin Wright vs Rachel Weisz
Making quite a statement in this noir-esque sheer embellished dress by Yves Saint Laurent, supermodels and celebrities have their names written all over it.
However, Rachel came out of her comfort zone to try this daring, rebel dress yet Robin couldn’t have styled it better. As she channelled her rebellious, dare-to-be girl attitude, we are totally vouching for Robin!
Who do you vote for: Robin or Rachel
Celebrities who wore similar designs/trends
Amy Jackson vs Rihanna
Amy Jackson skipped our heartbeat as she sashayed in Georges Hobeika’s white and gold embroidered silk tulle gown. She looked lovely in a topknot and dazzling hoops.
On the other hand, Rihanna showed up in an ethereal white strapless gown designed by Dior. We love the beauty of this all-white ensemble. However, the pop queen nailed the look here.
What’s your choice: Amy or Rihanna?
Deepika Padukone vs Sara Sampaio
Fashion is buzzing with all things sheer nets and sizzling intricate details. Gowns with long tails and delicate motifs that add oodles of oomph, welcome Deepika in a wine sheath net floor-length couture.
The world went gaga over her sartorial ensemble while the paparazzi couldn’t stop clicking the gorgeous Sara Sampaio when she showed up in a white floor-length sheer net floral embroidered gown. The leggy lass lifted up the spirits and gave us major fashion goals.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan vs Winnie Harlow
Walking like a dream, these two look like they have come straight from the Disney movie. The princess alter-ego reflects in their subtle charm. Aishwarya looked resplendent in the powder blue embellished Michael Cinco gown.
The Canadian model Winnie Harlow wowed us as she graced the Red Carpet in a flawless blue ballroom off-shoulder gown. However, our heart beats for Aish and we are certainly not complaining, Harlow was a bit less glam.
Do you agree with us: Aish > Harlow?
