The fitness enthusiasts and like-minded workout lovers Milind Soman and Ankita Konwar broke the stereotype earlier this week when they finally decided to tie the knot last Sunday at Alibaug. The close-knit affair involving family and friends was a privy setup where the two beautiful souls stepped out of their closet after 4 years of dating and married in the midst of nature.
While the society crept in and criticized the two for their bold decision by alleging them of their huge age gap. Instead, the two just seems to be lost in their own world and put their happy faces forward. We’re totally crushing on their simple yet beautiful daytime wedding. The simplicity of souls reflected through their attires, set up and the vibes are beyond the society’s taboo and stereotypes.
Take a deep breath and check out their beautiful moments because they’re really worth it😊
Ankita chose a peppy yellow silk designer bridal lehenga with gorgeous embroidery and mirror work on it. Her hourglass curves accentuated by the ensemble totally complemented her stature. The fresh floral jewellery further enhanced her subtle natural beauty as she danced with her hubby-to-be Milind.
Mr Soman who is apparently every girl’s dream man is now taken, he looked dapper in a white kurta and dhoti. Yes, he kept it all minimal yet statement-worthy. The gorgeous golden embroidery underlying the neckline of Milind’s kurta and his long scarf proves he’s a man of details.
For Mehendi, Ankita stayed rooted as she showed up in her traditional Assamese yellow Muga silk saree with contrasting blue and yellow designer blouse. She made a pretty bride with kohl-rimmed eyes and traditional Assamese jewellery for a classic bridal look.
The pristine wedding day theme was all about the glorious whites sprinkled with a hint of colors via marigolds and banana leaves. The good-looking couple took a serene street as they adorned traditional white ethnic ensemble. The Maharashtrian themed wedding took place in Alibaug and the two looked so much in love wearing white and pink rose jaimalas with tony rose buds head jewellery as a part of the Marathi wedding.
Ankita looked pretty in a white and gold traditional south silk saree with a designer flannel blouse. She layered gold jewelry to brighten up the minimalistic look and kept her makeup natural yet subtle. Milind wore a simple cream long kurta with a chanderi silk white sheer net dupatta over it to fancy up his sophisticated look.
